Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • Completion of company orientation, safety training, and selling training.
  • Advanced knowledge of all current trends in beauty for hair care, skin care, and makeup.
  • Working knowledge of Store / department financials.
  • Understanding of technology.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Reading and writing skills.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate techniques by applying to themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Provides superior customer service that's focused on hospitality.
  • Answers customer questions regarding products; assists them with selections; helps customers locate merchandise.
  • Engages Customers to offer individual beauty solutions based on their needs.
  • Merchandises product effectively, using advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of all current trends on a daily basis in beauty for hair care, skin care, and makeup.
  • Assists in the execution of the sampling, testing, and demos events to drive customer engagement.
  • Applies understanding of department financials and how to drive results.
  • Interacts with vendors as needed.
  • Stocks / rotates items as needed.
  • Assists with inventory control to ensure in-stock conditions.
  • Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation.
  • Cleans / sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
  • Properly handles and maintains the operation of all equipment.
  • Complies with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures.
