  • Collects and disposes of all warehouse trash.
  • Collects all pallets and cardboard. Breaks down boxes and places in cardboard baler. Empties baler when full and puts bale of cardboard outside.
  • Sweeps all warehouse floors and cleans floors with scrubber. Re-sweeps and re-cleans floors as needed throughout the day.
  • Cleans up spills and mops where needed.
  • Cleans parking lots, outdoor break area, and other work areas as needed.
  • Arranges carts in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Collects recycled paper throughout the warehouse and places it in the designated bin.
  • Returns will call orders not picked up from previous day.
  • Fills will call orders as needed using pallet jack.
  • Restocks returned items. Cleans up broken items, repacks, repairs packaging if necessary, and restocks into warehouse.
  • Loads up customer will call orders as they arrive and checking them off using yellow invoice.
  • Shrinks any bad, broken, ripped, and out of date items.
  • Additional duties as required, assigned, or delegated.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, written in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Possesses a valid California driver's license and a driving record that meets Company guidelines.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
