About The Position

As a key contributor to our retail team, the Will-Call Loader is responsible for working directly with customers, pulling orders and ensuring quality standards are being met with each transaction. The team helps ensure a clean, organized and safe environment is always maintained in the warehouse. As part of the IMS Training Standards, you will participate in a detailed 7-week (paid) onboard training program giving you hands-on experience within all departments and shifts, so you feel fully prepared for your job duties.

Requirements

• 1 + year using a Forklift (required)
• 1 + year working in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• Experience with precision measuring tools like calipers and/or micrometers
• HS Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Familiar with the proper tagging process.
• Knowledge of proper packaging procedures for how different types of materials are handled.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a metal fabrication shop a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely locate and identify materials and products indicated on work orders using the appropriate material handling equipment. (ie: forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.)
• You will learn to use our business software program to pull inventory and process orders.
• Your attention to detail will ensure customer material is of the highest quality for our customers, every time.
• You will be pulling, packing and wrapping the material while adhering to our Quality System.
• Verify the size and dimensions of materials and products with the use of calipers, a micrometer, tape measures and the established color-coding system.
• Communicates inventory shortages and outages to proper individuals for re-ordering.
• Identifies discrepancies between the inventory listing and the actual quantities in stock.
