About The Position

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training documented in work history or resume.
• Must have a valid State Driver's License.
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds frequently.
• Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and very dusty.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, and motors.
• Perform other duties as tasked by administration.
