About The Position

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training documented in work history and/or resume.
• Must have a valid State Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have no DUI/DWI's within the last 12 months.
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds frequently.
• Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and very dusty.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment.
• Adjust and repair trucks, transmissions, rear ends, and motors.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as tasked by administration.
