About The Position

This position works within the DEM Division of Law Enforcement. The position is responsible for assisting and supporting the recovery, disposal, and care of sick, injured, and/or dead wildlife, especially deer killed by auto strikes. Employee must follow proper health and safety protocol at all times. The scheduled work week consist of five days and work on weekends and holidays is required. Applicant must possess a valid driver's license and be physically qualified to perform assigned duties as evidenced by a physician's certificate. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
