About The Position
This WLF Enforcement Sergeant is located in Region 8. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is responsible for managing and protecting the state's renewable natural resources, including all wildlife and aquatic life. LDWF supports a strong work ethic in its employees and incorporates the use of good science, accurate information and technology. This position is located in the Enforcement Division within the Office of the Secretary. The incumbent of this position will assist in addressing the challenges of recruiting and retaining a diverse and effective workforce. This includes, but not limited to, identifying and attracting talent from a diverse pool, ensuring every candidate is treated fairly, verifying that the application and screening process is bias-free, working closely with human resources, participate in establishing policies that enhance the agency's hiring process and indirectly supervising personnel responsible for other talent acquisition functions.
