About The Position

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation is recruiting for a Wildlife Biologist 1 located in Douglas, Alaska. Under the general supervision of a Wildlife Biologist III, this position leads field efforts and provides technical assistance for research projects on large carnivore ecology, population dynamics, and habitat selection with an emphasis on brown bears and American black bears in Southeast, Alaska. The incumbent will assist with research needs to answer questions that are important to sustainably managing wildlife populations.
