Great Benefits Package - watch this video Wildland Fire Suppression Specialist (WFSS) - Minimum Qualifications Wildland Fire Suppression Specialist – Two (2) seasons of Wildland firefighting experience. Note: Successful applicants must take and pass the physical fitness Work Capacity Test at the arduous level if selected for employment. Work Capacity Test. Note: Must be 18 years of age and have valid driver’s license at the time of hire. If you do not have 2 seasons of Wildland firefighting experience please still apply. We may consider applicants as an underfill that do not have 2 seasons if not able to fill at the qualified level.
