PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Oversees planning and execution of wildfire technology pilots and investments, including AI‑enabled wildfire detection cameras Weather station deployments Integration of data into wildfire risk modeling tools Provides oversight of vendor coordination, scope definition, and execution sequencing, including decisions to pursue pilots versus full RFPs. Supports the development and implementation of PHI’s PSPS strategy, including Process and procedural development Integration with Emergency Preparedness Alignment with technology enablers (weather stations, cameras) Helps frame PSPS as a risk‑management and liability‑reduction tool, responding to recurring investor and regulatory questions. Engages in discussions with Regulatory, Finance, and senior leadership on Funding requirements (CapEx and O&M) for wildfire initiatives Alignment with LRP and WIWO approvals Preparation of regulatory‑facing wildfire materials (e.g., BPU updates) Supports justification of wildfire investments based on NJ‑specific risk exposure, including FEMA and third‑party risk data. Develop, manage, and evaluate high profile, complex projects/programs/initiatives involving multiple organizations from planning to post implementation phases as required. Develop business plans, project charters and performance metrics in support of business objectives. Ensure organizational alignment with management models and principles and drive the integration of best practices. Track and report progress on key business initiatives. Manage quality assurance and/or change management activities involving internal and external personnel. This position will maintain an on-going interface with various Exelon organizations in areas such as the execution of business processes, strategic initiatives, and management model implementation. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
