This position provides expert analysis and guidance on wildfire potential, behavior and impacts across Oncor’s territory. This role supports operational decision-making, wildfire mitigation strategies, and emergency response by assessing fuels, topography and weather interactions. This position will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Oncor’s wildfire behavior analysis and wildfire mitigation program. This role will be responsible for building and managing the systems, tools, and strategies that forecast wildfire behavior, support wildfire mitigation planning, and strengthen Oncor’s operational readiness. The incumbent will work across departments and with external partners to ensure that fire behavior modeling and fire planning are effectively integrated into Oncor’s broader wildfire mitigation, emergency response, and asset protection efforts.
