About The Position

Wide Format Specialists play a key role in the production of large-scale printed materials. They manage the end-to-end process of wide format output, ensuring high-quality results across various applications. Their responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, overseeing finishing processes, and supporting logistics for delivery and installation. With a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement, they help drive department success by adapting to new initiatives, maintaining equipment performance, and meeting customer expectations. These specialists excel in dynamic environments, balancing quality, speed, and precision to consistently achieve production goals.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Three years’ experience in commercial print bindery is preferred.
1 year bindery experience is required.
Must possess well-developed communications and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Three years’ experience in commercial print bindery is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operating flat and roll printers, cutting tables, and laminators
Utilize software like Caldera, Esko, and Colex
Perform finishing tasks including sewing, grommeting, weeding, laminating, mounting, and trimming
Produce signs and banners using rigid and roll materials according to job specifications
Package final product, document, and print required delivery information per job specifications
Package final products, creating custom packaging when necessary
Preparing graphics for shipping and installation
Remaining familiar with
Other responsibilities as required on an as needed basis.
