Under the supervision of the WIC Clinic Supervisor and the WIC Clinic Coordinator, performs the functions of a WIC Clerk in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. The Clerk performs all client intake tasks, computer input, benefit issuance to participants, and education of benefit usage. The Clerk also verifies patient/client appointments, schedules initial and return appointments, screens all clinic calls for program eligibility, and prepares client files. Work may also involve conducting various outreach activities in the community and surrounding area.
