About The Position

The Warehouse Lead assists the Warehouse Director directing the daily activities of the warehouse. Including Employees supervision and proper utilization of space, equipment, and manpower. Provides leadership, direction and monitors the targets accomplishments. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for supporting all maintenance aspects of the Colton DC including the following: electric plumbing, carpentry, buildings and grounds, welding, fabrication shop, housekeeping, OSHA compliance, safety, PRMs, power tools, HVAC and new project assigned based on the DC needs. The Maintenance Lead is accountable and maintains accountability for the safe, efficient and Lean Operation of the facility and equipment. Support operations with all their maintenance needs and respond quick and efficiently on all emergencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Several years of hands-on experience in building maintenance and repair across various trades
• CA DL

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Implementing preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing
• Understanding recycling principles
• Operate various PIV sitdown center rider
• Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions
• Maintain reliable attendance
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education
• Assist with training other employees and providing backup
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested
