About The Position

This position is responsible for verifying and fulfilling Member wholesale trade orders, which includes pulling items from shelves, ensuring correct quantities and expiration dates, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing merchandise. The role also involves ensuring the accuracy of orders and invoices, securing items until shipment, and following up on out-of-stock merchandise. Key duties include maintaining facility safety by adhering to all safety standards, operating a forklift, and organizing merchandise for loading onto pallets, containers, or trucks. Additionally, the role requires providing excellent Member service by assisting with purchasing decisions and resolving concerns, as well as ensuring all necessary documentation is signed and released to shipping companies. Responsibilities

  • Verify pulled orders have the appropriate quantities and the correct item selection.
  • Develop and support Membership by providing information on Membership benefits and promoting the value of Company products and services.
  • Fulfill Member wholesale trade orders by reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, ensuring appropriate expiration dates, scanning items, wrapping and palletizing items appropriately, ensuring the accuracy of orders and invoices, securing items until orders ship, and following up on out-of-stock merchandise to meet Member needs.
  • Maintain safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
  • Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
  • Operate forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
  • Organize wholesale trade merchandise onto pallets, containers, and/or trucks to ensure loads are stacked, mixed, and balanced appropriately in accordance with Company policies and maintain documentation of the loading process.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is signed in accordance with Company policies and procedures and appropriate documentation is released to the shipping company.
