We are seeking a Wholesale Title Clerk with automotive title processing experience to join our dynamic team, supporting our Brickell campus stores including CDJR, Honda, Buick GMC, and Mazda. The Wholesale Title Clerk is responsible for managing all aspects of title processing for wholesale vehicle transactions. This role ensures accurate and timely preparation, submission, and tracking of titles, lien releases, and other required documents for vehicles sold at auction or to other dealers. The Wholesale Title Clerk serves as a key liaison between the dealership, financial institutions, state agencies, auctions, and wholesale buyers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in automotive title processing (wholesale experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of state titling regulations, electronic title systems, and wholesale auction requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with auctions, banks, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Process wholesale titles accurately and in compliance with state and dealership requirements.
  • Verify that all titles, MSOs, and lien releases are received and correct before wholesale transactions.
  • Prepare and submit title packets for vehicles sold at auction or direct dealer-to-dealer sales.
  • Maintain logs of wholesale title activity, including tracking pending, in-process, and completed transactions.
  • Communicate with auctions, buyers, and internal departments to resolve title issues quickly.
  • Research and obtain duplicate titles or lien releases as needed.
  • Ensure all fees and payments related to title processing are reconciled and submitted properly.
  • Coordinate with accounting to balance title-related schedules and reports.
  • Monitor and comply with state DMV/DOR regulations, updating processes as rules change.
  • Assist with other title-related duties (retail or dealer trades) as needed.
