About The Position

This role will report to the LOB Strategic Execution and Business Management Lead with responsibility for assisting in execution of Wholesale’s strategic plan and the administration of key operating routines, with emphasis on driving automation/AI adoption in support of Wholesale’s ambition to improve productivity and operational efficiency. The role will utilize technological proficiency, strong organization skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills to help execute against business strategies and implement approaches needed to help achieve Wholesale Banking’s strategic objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training or experience to include 5+ years of experience in positions that carry increasing levels of responsibility
  • 7+ years of experience within consulting, business management, banking, or relevant financial services organization
  • Ability to present data and business considerations in a structured manner, think critically and work independently
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Demonstrated understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop initiatives to accelerate performance against strategic goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate and drive project meetings with senior business leaders and client, product, business partner SMEs.
  • Contribute to business strategy development and opine on target operating model including organizational shifts and adjustments (people, product, process) required to deliver on strategy.
  • Lead execution and project management for top-priority Wholesale initiatives and ad hoc requests. Serve as the primary facilitator for cross-functional efforts (including requests from BURE, Human Resources, and Wholesale leadership); execute with high degree of independence, ensuring execution is as streamlined, simplified, and automated as possible.
  • Develop initiatives to accelerate performance against strategic goals and objectives. To include facilitating and driving project meetings with senior business leaders and client, product, business partner SMEs.
  • Contribute to business strategy development and opine on target operating model including organizational shifts and adjustments (people, product, process) required to deliver on strategy.
  • Serve as the center of excellence for AI and automation adoption across assigned business unit. Act as the primary subject matter expert on available tools and capabilities; proactively identify and drive opportunities for increased adoption and optimization; and represent WBEE in enterprise forums to influence product roadmaps, investment decisions, and capability enhancements.
  • Identify, design, and drive automation and process-simplification opportunities across assigned business unit. Take a consultative, relationship-driven approach to assessing current activities, challenging legacy processes, and implementing scalable solutions; requires the ability to be appropriately provocative, influence without authority, and follow through to ensure sustained adoption.
  • Act as a strategic dot-connector across Wholesale and functional partners. Coordinate across teams to enable successful execution of strategic priorities, including Client Entertainment, Executive Calendar management, special projects, and other high-visibility initiatives requiring tight coordination and operational rigor.
  • Ensure cross-Wholesale alignment and operational discipline for key corporate routines and deliverables. Maintain a highly organized, forward-looking view of upcoming routines, milestones, and dependencies; establish clear ownership and accountability; and drive a high degree of automation and standardization for recurring administrative and reporting activities, including WBEE Book of Work.
  • Model and reinforce a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability. Communicate frequently and transparently, demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment, and foster strong working relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders. May manage a team.
