About The Position

The Wholesale Sales Representative, Delivery & Manufacturing Support role is a dynamic position that combines outside sales, customer deliveries, and in-house manufacturing. This individual builds and maintains wholesale customer relationships, delivers orders professionally, and contributes to the production of leather and nylon tack products when not traveling. The role requires strong sales ability, safe driving skills, and hands-on craftsmanship. Our Western Wholesale Division supplies trusted equine equipment to businesses across the West and produces high-quality leather and nylon tack in-house.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience, preferably in wholesale, retail, or agricultural supply.
  • Knowledge of equine products and horse tack strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type).
  • Experience with leatherworking, sewing, or related manufacturing processes a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform warehouse/manufacturing tasks.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and flexible to switch between sales, delivery, and production work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale accounts, including tack shops, ranch supply stores, and equine retailers.
  • Promote horse tack products, provide product knowledge, and make sales presentations.
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities to grow division sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and account details.
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver wholesale tack orders to customer locations.
  • Verify deliveries with customers, obtain signatures, and ensure accuracy of orders.
  • Maintain delivery schedules and provide professional, courteous service at all times.
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, maintained, and operated according to company and DOT standards.
  • Assist in the cutting, sewing, and assembly of leather and nylon tack products.
  • Operate sewing machines, cutting equipment, and other production tools.
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and product quality.
  • Support inventory management by preparing, organizing, and labeling finished goods.
  • Pick and pack orders with accuracy
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet production goals.
