About The Position

The Wholesale Parts Person responsible for managing the inventory, sales, and distribution of automotive parts to wholesale customers. This role involves working with parts suppliers, managing customer orders, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that all parts are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in an automotive or truck parts warehouse, repair center, dealership, or similar facility.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 10 days following date of hire.
  • Ability to lift up 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory for wholesale operations.
  • Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers based on customer needs and inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as necessary to ensure stock availability.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and update inventory records to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist wholesale customers with identifying and ordering the correct automotive parts.
  • Provide pricing, availability, and delivery information to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Process customer orders, including order entry, invoicing, and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure the timely processing and fulfillment of wholesale parts orders.
  • Package and ship parts accurately, ensuring the right parts are sent to the correct customer locations.
  • Coordinate with the shipping department to arrange deliveries and track order status.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and related products.
  • Stay informed of current industry trends and new products.
  • Provide guidance to customers and team members regarding parts compatibility, specifications, and alternatives.
  • Collaborate with the dealership's service and sales departments to fulfill parts needs.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding part availability, back orders, and special orders.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve any issues regarding product defects, delays, or other concerns.
  • Create and maintain records for all wholesale transactions, including customer orders, returns, and warranties.
  • Assist in preparing reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and order status.
  • Assist with pricing updates and catalog management.
  • Deliver parts to customers, vendors, and repair shops as required.
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of parts.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
