About The Position

YOUR ROLE As Wholesale Manager, you are responsible for driving sales growth, account development, and operational excellence across the Military, Dallas Store, and Independent accounts. You serve as a strategic partner and day ‑ to ‑ day leader for these accounts who is driven by sales and business expansion. You will navigate complex relationships with buyers and store management teams to scale the wholesale business in alignment with the L’Occitane brand vision. They will act as a key champion for these accounts, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure long-term success. PROFILE A strategic, sales ‑ driven account leader with a strong understanding of wholesale operations and the premium beauty marketplace. 5+ years of proven success in wholesale account management, sales, or business development within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or related consumer products. Strong business acumen and ability to manage complex retail relationships. Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, improving sell ‑ out, and strengthening retail partnerships. Excellent communicator and negotiator with strong cross ‑ functional collaboration skills. Ability to think strategically while executing with precision and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting sales, inventory, and operational data. High integrity, operational discipline, and strong work ethic. Entrepreneurial, proactive, and resilient in fast ‑ paced environments. Customer ‑ centric mindset with a deep understanding of retail dynamics. Strong organizational and time ‑ management skills; able to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Brand ambassador capable of representing L’Occitane professionally across all wholesale partners.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management Partner with the Sr. Manager to oversee and grow the Wholesale portfolio (Sell ‑ In & Sell ‑ Out). Priority accounts: Military, Dallas Store, TV Channels, and Independent accounts (BFSG). Secondary support for: Nordstrom, Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, Anthropologie. Serve as the primary liaison for buyers and store teams. Communicate assortment changes, allocations, merchandising needs, and data ‑ backed recommendations. Ensure monthly Sell ‑ In and Sell ‑ Out targets are consistently achieved. Act as an internal advocate for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment across all functional teams.
  • Marketing, Programs & Execution Support the Sr. Manager in developing and executing annual and seasonal marketing plans. Manage end ‑ to ‑ end sampling initiatives, including requests, orders, and timelines. Assist in monitoring and analyzing marketing ROI to optimize future investments.
  • Sales Analysis & Business Intelligence Own weekly sales reporting across all account portals. Analyze trends, top/bottom SKUs, and regional performance. Review weekly inventory and WOS reports; identify opportunities to drive sell ‑ in. Lead weekly business touch bases with the Sr. Manager to review performance and implement action plans.
  • Business Operations Manage retailer intake forms, including SKU setup, kit creation, and program documentation. Partner with Customer Care to ensure accurate and timely order processing. Support operational readiness for launches, promotions, and replenishment cycles. Provide flexible support for evolving business needs and special projects. All other duties or projects as assigned
