Hearst Television is seeking an inquisitive, innovative, and fact-focused White House Correspondent to join our Washington, DC News Bureau. In an ever-changing political landscape, this correspondent will be the point person for all reporting and communication between our team and the White House. Regular duties include attending White House press briefings, making connections with White House staffers and administration members, and being part of the White House press pool on occasion. You will cover the biggest news developments and report live from the White House and around DC every day for Hearst Television's 35 stations. A successful candidate is a collaborative communicator who can separate the politics from the real impact on our communities, seek accountability, and deliver the most relevant facts and context in a transparent, process-driven manner. This correspondent is heavily engaged in our digital and social media content and will work at a fast pace to deliver stories on all platforms and under strict deadlines. You will report to the Bureau Chief.
