About The Position

The Whey Helper is responsible for assisting with the activities in the Whey Plant as directed by the Production Supervisor. This position is temporary for the summer months to support packaging in our powder department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift Truck License required; in-house training provided.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Fill lactose bags with product; ensuring the bag house is empty at end of shift.
• Assist with Feta or Cheddar packaging/production as directed.
• Assist with other general duties in Whey Plant as assigned.
• Effectively adhere to and maintain the plant sanitation schedule.
• Communicate concerns to the Production Supervisor in a timely fashion.
