About The Position
The Whey Dryer Operator is responsible for monitoring the dryer, finisher evaporator, and WPC performance, making necessary adjustments to operating parameters. The operator will notify the control room lead person or management of any irregularities in equipment performance and ensure proper changes and connections for production and CIP modes of operation. The role includes performing computer tasks, maintaining production records, conducting hourly quality checks, and assisting in loading and unloading trucks of whey concentrate. Cleaning and sanitation tasks are also required to maintain plant equipment and quality standards, along with performing minor maintenance on equipment. The operator must minimize water usage and wastewater generation while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
