Make a difference with us as a Part-Time Wheelchair Van Driver! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain a Wheelchair Van while in compliance with all laws pertaining to the operation of the vehicle while transporting patients Interact professionally with other health care personnel, patients and other affected parties Complete daily vehicle inspection and equipment checklist Cleaning of vehicles (inside and out), including disinfecting equipment and restocking/replacing linens, blankets and other supplie Collecting payments and issuing receipts if needed Secures all passengers in van per the Company Passenger Securement Policy Responsible for safe loading/unloading of all passengers Ensures all reports, letter, and documentation are accurate and completed in a timely manner Maintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous, professional and ethical behavior Physical Demands: Must be physically able to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment as required to meet the essential job functions of an EMS provider Involves bending, sitting, and kneeling Must be able to drive/ride in wheelchair van for extended periods of time Physical agility necessary to lift and move patients and equipment safely Qualifications: Current CPR Valid driver’s license and good driving record Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress Possess good verbal communication skills High School diploma or GED Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
