About The Position

We're hiring Wheelchair Drivers who will transport and deliver high-quality customer service to patients. AMR is one of Global Medical Response's (GMR) family of solutions. Our GMR teams deliver compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and patient relocation services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State driver's license.
• Successful completion of company driver's training.
• Successful completion of CPR First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Utilize maps to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and patient home addresses.
• Ability to use standard radio codes to communicate with the communications center.
• Complete daily trip sheet recording transport activity.
• Ensure company vehicle is maintained and presentable.
• Responsible for completing mechanical checklist for vehicle at the start of each shift.
• Communicate mechanical problems to fleet department if/when vehicle is not in working order.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures.
