About The Position

ABBA Roller is seeking a Wheel Builder who is skilled and detail-oriented with a passion for precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and building rubber wheels, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. The Wheel Builder will work closely with various types of hubs to create durable and high-performance wheels. This role requires a strong understanding of wheel-building techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.   About ABBA: ABBA Roller specializes in high-performance urethane rollers and custom elastomer solutions for industrial and commercial applications. Our team supports customers across diverse industries with durable, precision-engineered products. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of similar experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with grinding and polish rubber machines, calipers, micrometers.
  • High School degree or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years in similar field or with machine experience
  • Ability to lift and manipulate 40 lbs.
  • Excellent close and distant vision.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours plus per workday.

Responsibilities

  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of dimensions.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized work area.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration with the overall product.
  • Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, using inspection tools and devices.
