About The Position

Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is currently seeking a WH- Pallet Repair person to join our team. Position Summary: Responsible for the sorting of repairable and non-repairable pallets. Repair the repairable pallets with skilled tools and simple tools Work Shift Schedule: This position follows the "Traditional Work Schedule" Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. NOTE: The seasonal nature of our business often requires working overtime. Therefore, hours may fluctuate due to business necessity and meeting operational needs.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend instructions.
Ability to use skilled hand tools (electric saws, air powered nail gun)
Ability to use small hand tools (hammer, crowbar)
Ability to use Sky Hook to stack pallets.
High School education or equivalent
One to 3 months experience and/or training
Requires to sit, talk, hear, walk, climb, stoop, knell or squat and/or lift up to 50lbs. Constant walking/standing on concrete floors, elevated surfaces. Physical ability and knowledge to use skilled hand tools.
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places.
Frequent exposure to loud noise.
Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
Adhere to all safety equipment requirements to include bump hat, hairnet, ear protection.
Safety glasses required in some areas.
