About The Position
WGN-TV is looking for a full-time writer for our newscasts. The position involves writing stories and editing video for broadcast, managing live shots, and collaborating with reporters and photographers to file content into show rundowns. The writer will also be responsible for ordering and filing graphics, assisting producers in various areas, and may be asked to line produce on a fill-in basis.
