About The Position

Develops, implements and keeps records of operational procedures and guidelines in Gate Station Operations. Provides administrative and technical support for Gate Station Operations including supplier meter witnessing of records, meter check measurement records, providing data to internal groups for auditing purposes. Maintains all regulatory records. Develops the weekly schedules for all Gate Station groups. May be required to work on call on a 24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week basis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • 2+ Years in operations experience, including scheduling
  • Knowledge of Natural Gas facilities scheduling preferred
  • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, for data management, research, analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and analyze multiple scenarios in solving broadly-defined business problems.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of: scheduling system for weekly work schedules; operation and maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment; process control theory; math and analytical skills; technical writing for procedure reviews and updates; applicable Federal and State Regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining operational and maintenance procedures/guidelines for Gate Station Operations.
  • Analyzes the performance of equipment in odorization, heat, measurement, and pressure regulation systems through Work Management system.
  • Develop reports for corrective actions.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory for gate station systems.
  • Maintains records to comply with Federal and State regulations and tariffs.
  • Assists Project Managers, Manager/Sr. Specialist, and Gate Station Operations as needed.
  • Interacts with internal and external audiences to interpret and evaluate guidelines and procedures associated with the unit's programs, systems, and services.
  • Maintains the Gate Station on call list, posting and maintain approved PTO calendars.
  • Maintains all schedules for metering, heat, regulation and odorization equipment maintenance.
  • Interacts with interstate suppliers on metering and operational schedules.
  • Provides weekly schedules to all gate station operating areas.
  • Report Gas Control YZ communications log issues weekly to supervisors.
