About The Position

The WFD Program Manager - Digital Career Accelerator is responsible for leading and monitoring DCA staff to ensure the successful execution of program enrollment, case management, assessments, training initiatives, and achievement of monthly performance goals. The role involves maintaining confidentiality of case notes and sensitive client and staff information, preparing and submitting monthly reports to the Senior Director, and accurately documenting staff training and performance. The manager will also cultivate relationships with community agencies to increase awareness of services and develop partnerships to expand current programs. The position requires travel to various Job Resource Centers and participation in staff meetings to ensure the successful operation of the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Prior supervisory experience in the workforce development industry.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.
  • Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in standard computer operating systems and relevant software.

  • Master's degree or in process.
  • Bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor DCA staff to ensure successful program execution.
  • Maintain confidentiality of case notes and sensitive information.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing outcome metrics and goals.
  • Document and submit staff training and performance documentation.
  • Meet regularly with staff to review outreach schedules.
  • Cultivate relationships with community agencies to increase service awareness.
  • Develop partnerships to expand current programs.
  • Offer direct assistance at Job Resource Centers as needed.
  • Work closely with the Compliance program to ensure file compliance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Senior Director to review program progress.
  • Manage all assigned grants and contractual deliverables.
  • Ensure a system is in place to track program outcomes.
  • Travel to WFD Job Resource Centers monthly.
  • Participate in Workforce Development monthly staff meetings.
