About The Position

Kingfish is seeking motivated individuals for wetland delineation projects across Pennsylvania. The role involves conducting field surveys to identify wetland boundaries, analyzing environmental data, and preparing reports. This position is suitable for entry-level candidates with a background in environmental science or related fields, and training will be provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field (preferred).
• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (preferred).
• Data analysis skills.
• Research analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to identify and flag wetland and waters boundaries using established methodologies.
• Analyze soil, hydrology, and vegetation data to determine wetland boundaries.
• Pickup wetland and waters flag numbers and locations with GPS and forward to the office as ESRI shapefiles.
• Complete field data sheets and take representative photos.
• Prepare Wetland Delineation Reports.
