About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Wet Finisher for a concrete finishing team. As a Wet Finisher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and a passion for working with concrete.

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction experience preferred.
Ability to use finishing tools such as trowels, floats, and power trowels.
Strong knowledge of different concrete finishes (e.g., smooth, brushed, stamped).
Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications is a plus
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

Apply finishing techniques to freshly poured concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness, texture, and durability.
Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them to meet quality standards.
Utilize power trowels, hand tools, and other finishing equipment to achieve the desired finish.
Inspect concrete work for defects, ensuring that the final product meets project specifications.
Work closely with other team members, including concrete laborers, operators, and foremen, to meet project deadlines and safety standards.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
