Position Summary The Fab Engineering New Technology team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor comprises engineers from various Fab engineering unit parts that support NTI strategic initiatives for the company. In this role, Engineers complement our Process Integration engineering team to develop, strengthen, and ultimately qualify processes that provide solutions for our customer's critical needs. In your role, you'll be responsible for production qualification of new processes including idea proposal, experimental execution, data analysis. Our team ensures new processes can meet high quality and robust manufacturability needed to support high volume Semiconductor Foundry manufacturing.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience in Semiconductor manufacturing or process development with an emphasis on Cleans and Wet Etch processes.
- Extensive knowledge of process fundamentals and volume manufacturing challenges are a must.
- Track record of continuous improvement in Cleans/Wets engineering processes.
- Strong Data analysis skills are essential.
- Must be capable in conveying complex engineering concepts clearly to non-expert audiences.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with DNS SU3XXX model is strongly desired
Responsibilities
- The Wet Clean Process Development Engineer is engaged in supporting critical process development, process engineering in order to make new legacy technologies viable for high volume manufacturing.
- Engineering solutions for cleans and wet‑etch processes under production development and qualification.
- Process uniformity improvements.
- Defect improvements.
- Process optimization for manufacturing.
- Process margin evaluation.
