Weyerhaeuser has an opening for a Western Environmental Research and Operational Support (WEROS) Intern with our Science & Technology team. The successful candidate will primarily assist Weyerhaeuser scientists and technicians on projects related to fish populations, stream habitat, water quality and hydrology, with the opportunity to also periodically support projects related to geologic slope stability processes and wildlife sciences, as time and needs dictate. Information collected will be used to support the development of effective forest management practices that provide appropriate protection for environmental resources. This internship will last approximately 12 to 15 weeks between mid/late June and mid/late September. A typical work week will be at least 40 hours/week, with most of that time spent on field duties.
