The WestJet PT Customer Service Agent at Unifi Aviation, LLC is a customer-facing role responsible for providing first-class customer service to passengers. This position requires a friendly and outgoing demeanor, as agents assist with various tasks related to passenger check-in, baggage handling, and overall airport navigation, ensuring a positive travel experience for customers.

  • Assists passengers with check-in, travel document verification, and issuing boarding passes.
  • Assists passengers with tagging baggage, weighing baggage, and lifting/transferring baggage to or from baggage carousels and conveyor belt systems.
  • Assists passengers with questions regarding flight reservations, ticketing, baggage, and wayfinding throughout the airport.
  • Utilizes computer software to manage passenger information, flight bookings, track baggage, track flight information, and facilitate the boarding process.
  • Operates passenger boarding bridges, requires fine motor skills manipulation and squeezing of joystick, locks, and buttons.
  • Manages deplaning and boarding processes, makes accurate gate announcements, monitors security of aircraft.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism while working independently, efficiently, and safely.
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull/move items up to 70 pounds. Regularly and repetitively lifts items weighing 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull/move items up to 70 pounds.
  • Experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills to manage passenger information and flight bookings.
