About The Position

El Dorado Furniture was established in South Florida in 1967 and has grown to become the largest Hispanic-owned furniture retail enterprise in the United States. With services offered all over the world, the family-owned company is ranked among the top 50 furniture retailers in the country. There are currently 14 El Dorado Furniture Showrooms and 3 outlet centers in Florida. The company is opening a new showroom in Wesley Chapel, projected to open in mid-September 2022, and is looking for various positions to fill.

Requirements

• Ability to create visually appealing showroom displays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support colleagues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in interior design or decoration.
• Previous retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Decorating the showrooms and creating ambiances to capture customer attention.
• Strategically placing accessories and props to create visual impact.
• Advising customers on interior design factors such as space planning and furniture recommendations.
• Moving furniture in the showroom and preparing merchandise for display.
• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the showroom, including pricing and display tune-ups.
• Providing personalized customer service and resolving customer issues efficiently.
• Greeting customers and directing them to the appropriate staff or department.
• Supporting leadership and sales associates with clerical tasks.
• Welcoming customers, discovering their needs, demonstrating products, and converting sales orders.
