About The Position

The Wellness Specialist position involves delivering accurate and continually updated information regarding Life Extension products, disease protocols, disorders, and magazine articles to customers. The role requires answering questions about specific product information, including ingredients, recommended dosages, and usage. The specialist will research and convey complex health-related information in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner while in a real-time environment. The position also involves accepting coaching and feedback to improve performance and customer experience, actively listening to callers, and utilizing effective probing questions to isolate needs. Regular onsite attendance is essential, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a focus on Science/Health, such as Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Nursing, Public Health, Health Promotion or Dietary field strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of vitamins & supplements preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of online researching tools such as PubMed, Internet Explorer, etc.
• Proven ability to navigate through and extract information from internal and external sites.
• Advanced multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and continually updated information regarding Life Extension products, disease protocols, disorders, and magazine articles to customers.
• Answer questions regarding specific product information, including product ingredients, recommended dosages, and usage.
• Research and convey complex health-related information in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner.
• Accept and quickly apply coaching and feedback to improve individual performance and customer experience.
• Actively listen to callers and utilize effective probing questions to isolate needs.
• Navigate internal systems to provide accurate and complete information and document information for future discussions.
• Periodically review basic lab results with customers and make appropriate product suggestions.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in reporting for scheduled work.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet fluctuating business needs.
• Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
