About The Position

The Wellness Spa Director reports to the Executive Director and General Manager and is responsible for Elevating Conscience and fostering the SoHum Mountain Healing culture within all the business units for AyurPrana. The Wellness Spa Director manages and directs all activities of the Spa. This position will hire and train all Massage Therapists in the specific treatment protocols designed for the practice. This includes Abhyanga therapy, Shirodhara, sweat therapy, and other ayurveda bodywork techniques. Must be well versed in the various oils used for the body and essential oils used for marma points. The Wellness Spa Director will collaborate with the Ayurvedic practitioners on treatment recommendations for the clients and guide the massage therapy team in execution of those therapies.

Requirements

• Massage background preferred with a current Massage License in North Carolina (not required).
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating coworkers, preferably in a wellness spa environment.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and coworkers.
• Passion and commitment to the business at an ownership level.
• Possess high energy, professionalism, and confidence every day and in every way.
• Capable of successfully prioritizing, delegating, organizing, and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities
