About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager for The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Charles, Missouri. This position is for a PRN (as needed) shift, 7pm-7am, with a starting wage of $33.00-$35.00 per hour. The role involves supervising the building in the absence of department heads, leading the Wellness team and other departments to ensure quick, reliable, and person-centered care, providing hands-on assistance to residents, accurately documenting medical records and assessments, and embodying Arrow's core values through professional and compassionate interactions. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 senior living communities across 6 states, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and employs nearly 2,200 individuals.

Requirements

  • Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Superior Supervisor: In the absence of department heads, be in charge of the building.
  • Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
  • Be a Force on the Floor: Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
  • Be a Diligent Documenter: Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
  • Be a Compassionate Caregiver: Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
  • Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
