About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager for The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Charles, Missouri. This position is for a PRN (as needed) shift, 7pm-7am, with a starting wage of $33.00-$35.00 per hour. The role involves supervising the building in the absence of department heads, leading the Wellness team and other departments to ensure quick, reliable, and person-centered care, providing hands-on assistance to residents, accurately documenting medical records and assessments, and embodying Arrow's core values through professional and compassionate interactions. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 senior living communities across 6 states, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and employs nearly 2,200 individuals.

Requirements

Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Be a Superior Supervisor: In the absence of department heads, be in charge of the building.
Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
Be a Force on the Floor: Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
Be a Diligent Documenter: Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
Be a Compassionate Caregiver: Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
