About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager for The Barrymore Senior Living community. This role is crucial in providing a home-like environment for both residents and team members, embracing core values to enhance residents' quality of life. The position involves supervising the wellness team, ensuring person-centered care, and leading other departments in the absence of department heads. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 34 properties in 6 states, employing nearly 2,200 individuals. Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Ability to be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as a Superior Supervisor, being in charge of the building in the absence of department heads.
Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
Be a Force on the Floor by being available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrating a sense of urgency that prioritizes resident needs.
Be a Diligent Documenter by completing resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and filing them correctly.
Be a Compassionate Caregiver by exemplifying Arrow's core values, ensuring professional, caring interactions that leave residents feeling safe and cared for.
Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
