About The Position

The Wellness Nurse Manager position at Arrow Senior Living is a part-time role located in North Olmsted, Ohio. The starting wage for this position ranges from $30.00 to $34.00 per hour. The shift schedule is set for Wednesdays from 7 am to 7 pm. The role involves overseeing the building in the absence of department heads, actively participating in the Wellness team, and ensuring that person-centered care is provided to residents. The position requires a compassionate approach to caregiving, with an emphasis on professionalism and resident safety.

Requirements

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of care and supervision requirements for residents.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
  • Criminal background clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the building in the absence of department heads.
  • Assist and lead the Wellness team in providing care.
  • Respond to call lights and requests for assistance from residents and team members.
  • Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional and caring.
