About The Position

The Wellness Director is responsible for ensuring proper operation/utilization of the medication room and delivering quality care to residents by effective supervision of Personal Care Aide supervisors, Certified Medication Aides and Personal Care Aides, and by effectively controlling medications, conducting resident assessments, and carrying out physicians' orders in a timely manner. This position maintains quality and operational effectiveness in the areas of resident care, admissions, and State HFR compliance and conducts routine performance meetings and competency checks with staff to ensure effectiveness and quality of care. The Wellness Director will apply processes and procedures to maintain proper compliance, care, and to create value for existing and prospective residents. Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass a level 2 background check.
  • Must have compassion and a desire to serve senior adults.
  • Licensing and personal care experience requirements will depend on the position applied for.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions pertaining to the care and oversight of the residents.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with peers and supervisors.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, well enough to give instructions, relay information, and carry-on effective interchange with staff and residents.
  • Must be able to relate well with others and provide a non-hostile workplace as well as receive direction from peers and supervisors with a positive attitude.
