Position Summary The Wellness Coordinator (LPN) provides leadership and hands-on support to the Wellness team, ensuring high-quality resident care, promoting wellness and regulatory compliance. This role includes supervising staff , coordinating care plans, and delivering direct nursing services as needed. On-call hours shared with Clinical Director. Engages in ongoing personal development in leadership, communication, and management skills.
Requirements
- Current Idaho LPN license and CPR certification .
- Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living or healthcare.
- Pass a nationwide background check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure .
- Proficiency with Microsoft email, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred .
Responsibilities
- Monitor care plans and medication administration for accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor Wellness staff; assist with hiring, training, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, HIPAA, and Resident Rights.
- Oversee infection control, incident reporting, and safety protocols.
- Conduct physical assessments and assist with new/returning resident evaluations.
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
- Provide emotional support and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Demonstrate patience, tact, and a positive attitude while effectively interacting with residents, staff, and visitors at their individual levels of understanding.
- Collaborate with other departments and contracted providers.
