Requirements

  • Nursing license in good standing with the State Licensing Authority.
  • Desire and talent to work with a highly-functioning, empowered team.
  • Compassion, kindness, and collaboration skills to work with elders and their families.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be goal-directed.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate independent judgment and discretion to perform licensed nurse tasks within the scope of practice as allowed by the state.
  • Maintain accurate wellness records providing nursing insights on resident care.
  • Comply with Wellness policies and procedures to provide extraordinary service to elders and their families.
  • Interact with community team members and residents' medical personnel.
