About The Position
Bon Appetit Management Company is seeking a Full-Time Wellness Coordinator for a Higher Education account in the greater Los Angeles, CA area. The Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for all nutrition and wellness information and activities for the account. This role involves customizing, supporting, coordinating, and measuring nutrition and wellness initiatives, as well as providing nutrition education, training, communication, and guidance as needed. The Wellness Coordinator will work collaboratively with the dining service director, regional director, chef, and marketing team to promote and support corporate nutrition goals, objectives, strategies, and policies. This includes developing and implementing wellness-related programs and initiatives while ensuring compliance with FDA nutrition labeling laws. The position requires a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with a passion for food and a commitment to outstanding service. At Bon Appetit, we pride ourselves on not adhering to standardized recipes or central commissaries; instead, our chefs and managers are encouraged to stay abreast of current culinary trends and bring cutting-edge food into their cafes. The Wellness Coordinator will have the freedom to be creative, take risks, and truly shine in their role. Key responsibilities include coordinating and implementing sector-specific nutrition and wellness programs, participating in account retention and sales efforts, developing and presenting materials for wellness programs, contributing to wellness-related social media efforts, managing menu and recipe development, leading in-field implementation and ongoing wellness training, and acting as a nutrition education resource for clients and associates. Regular audits will be conducted to ensure the accuracy of all nutrition information posted and to monitor wellness promotion results.
