Requirements

• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Certification from an accredited professional wellness coach training program.
• Knowledge of disease lifestyle topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, and stress reduction.
• Demonstrates interpersonal, communication, motivation, and listening skills.
• Ability to organize work effectively and use modern technology.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and perform using multiple computer applications.
• Compassionate communicator with the ability to gain customer trust.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a health-related field.
• Registered Dietician.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and/or face-to-face wellness coaching to enrollees.
• Conduct member-focused interviews and coaching with moderate risk individuals.
• Utilize motivational interviewing skills to clarify goals and support coaching processes.
• Develop customized care plans tailored to individual enrollees.
• Provide coaching in various settings including telephonic, onsite, and virtual.
• Collaborate with other health and wellness staff members.
