This position is for a Well Test Operator located in New Iberia, Louisiana, and is considered a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug testing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required, college preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to apply logical and spatial understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several defined variables in standardized situations.
  • Establish Core Competencies in Service Line-specific Equipment.
  • Possess/obtain any necessary service-specific licenses which are required (e.g., CDL).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of field operations to a high standard in accordance with CETCO’s and the customer’s requirements.
  • Work with safety as a top priority to minimize accidents and incidents.
  • Generate field Job Safety Analysis reports.
  • Assist with maintenance on all equipment.
  • Continually improve personal knowledge and experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, good discipline, and respect for peers and superiors.
  • Utilize stop work authority when an unsafe or unclear work situation is encountered.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Complete at least one (1) Personnel Evaluation by a higher-ranking employee per month.
  • Participate in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes such as 5S, Kaizen, and Daily Management Control.
