About The Position

Alaska West Express, Inc. provides truckload transportation throughout the United States and Canada, specializing in shipments to and from Alaska where we are a leader in transporting liquid- and dry-bulk products, hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, and petroleum products. With our fleet of flatbeds, stretch, lowboy, single- and double-drop trailers, we are recognized for dependable service to the oilfield, mining, construction, and manufacturing industries. Alaska West Express, Inc. (Lynden Oilfield Services), Alaska’s largest intermodal tank and chassis operator, is in search of a qualified CDL Driver to join our Frac Support Team in Prudhoe Bay, AK. Our team works a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off shift. We offer low-cost benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k, with up to 6% company contribution. Employees also receive paid sick leave.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 3 to 5 years fracking experience preferred.
  • Experience working on the North Slope or in a similar environment.
  • Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) with HazMat, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day field frac support operations on location.
  • Ensure safe and proper operation of Well support equipment.
  • Monitor quality control measures on location.
  • Maintain accurate records as required by company, client, or regulatory purposes.
  • Follow guidelines and policies set forth by the Frac Supervisor and customers.
  • Monitor frac tanks/upright tanks levels continuously/intermittently.
  • Assist in winter operations including blowing lines down, controlled release, and operating heaters.
  • Operate a FRAC Water Heating Unit (Hot Oiler) and pneumatic bulkers.
  • Drive a heavy duty, transport vehicle to and from well-site locations daily.
  • Hook up hoses, verify connection types and ensure connections are tight.
  • Examine the equipment and report any necessary repairs.
  • Provide proppant handling services, manifolding rig-up and tanks measurement during the job.
  • Participate in set ups & demobs; assemble required equipment/parts/pieces.
  • Operate equipment according to job specifications while monitoring pressures, fluid levels, and temperatures.
  • Perform and document minor service on equipment and ensure proper cleaning and storage.
  • Report all health, safety, and environmental hazards, near misses, and/or incidents.
  • Comply with all company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Participate in AWE HSSE proactive safety programs.
  • Promote the services of Lynden Oilfield Services and maintain professional relationships.
  • Maneuver vehicles in safe and efficient manner in various situations.
