About The Position

Weston & Sampson CMR is seeking candidates for a Project Management position with 1-5 years of experience in general construction for our Well & Pump Services office located in Sterling, MA. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the team to complete specific projects and serve clients.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in general construction (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Have or be able to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) health card
  • OSHA 10 training

Responsibilities

  • Work with the General Manager and Office Manager to coordinate field operations for the timely and quality completion of projects.
  • Review project specifications and respond to client requests to prepare cost estimates for groundwater well related service projects.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to gather specific information regarding project location and any limitations that could affect the project scope.
  • Preparation of project estimates, including labor and materials, that will be used to prepare bid responses and/or proposals for clients.
  • Preparation of proposals designed to address the client’s specific needs.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the accounting system and the project entry process to facilitate review of project financials.
  • Participate in the purchasing of materials for projects which will include preparation, delivery, and review of equipment submittals.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings with both clients and W&S CMR personnel to ensure that the project scope is understood by all parties.
  • Participate in the scheduling of field labor and the delivery of equipment and materials to project locations.
  • Daily contact with field personnel and clients to review and update project status and address issues as they arise so that they can be addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project costs, both labor and materials, to ensure that projects remain on budget.
  • Be prepared to provide periodic project status updates to W&S CMRo management.
  • Collection of project related information and preparation and delivery of reports to the client.
  • Assist with the preparation and tracking of invoices to the client.
