About The Position
The Renaissance Marine Group (RMG) Welding Training Program is a 4-week paid training opportunity designed to teach you the fundamentals of welding and prepare applicants for full-time careers as welders and fabricators. Participants will progress through classroom instruction, shop practice, and hands-on fabrication, leading to the potential for full-time employment with RMG. Continued participation and successful completion in the program requires meeting all learning objectives on schedule. Failure to meet requirements at any checkpoint will result in removal from the program.
Requirements
- Has a willingness and desire to learn
- Wants to become a full-time aluminum welder
- Can follow safety protocols and instructions
- Has an eye for detail
- Has integrity and good people skills
- Is a great team player
- Has reliable attendance and punctuality
- Candidates must have good boots/work attire for the program.
